     She was educated at Somerville College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ From 23 November 1946, her married name became Bland.¹ On 1 July 1975 her name was legally changed to Katherine Bruce by Deed Poll.¹ She lived in 1999 at 25 Kew Green, Richmond, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Thomas Riviere Bland was born on 8 February 1921 at Godstone, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Charles Riviere Bland.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Katherine Bruce, daughter of George John Gordon Bruce, 7th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Violet Dorothy Evelyn Done, on 23 November 1946.¹ He and Hon. Katherine Bruce were divorced in 1961.¹ He married Mary Millar, daughter of Gerald Arthur Millar and Ruth Cock, on 10 May 1962.³ He married, thirdly, Joan Catchpole in 1976.² He died on 5 February 2014 at age 92.²

     Julia Louise Beck was born in 1954 at Paddington, London, England^G.^2,3 She is the daughter of Sir Edgar Charles Beck and Mary Agnes Sorapure.^1,2 She married Charles Riviere Bland, son of Thomas Riviere Bland and Hon. Katherine Bruce, in 1980.¹
     From 1980, her married name became Bland.¹

     Sir Edgar Charles Beck was born on 11 May 1911 at Hackney, London, England^G.² He was the son of Edgar Beck.³ He married, firstly, Mary Agnes Sorapure in 1934 at Dover, Kent, England^G.² He and Mary Agnes Sorapure were divorced in 1972.³ He married, secondly, Anne Corbould in 1972.³ He died in July 2000 at age 89 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)⁴ He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.³ He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.³ He was chairman of John Mowlem Construction plc between 1961 and 1979.³ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1967.¹ He was chairman of Scaffolding Great Britain Ltd.³ He was appointed Knight in 1975.³ He lived at 3 Ilchester Place, London, England^G.

     William Riviere Bland was born in 1990.¹ He is the son of Charles Riviere Bland and Julia Louise Beck.¹

     Mary de Trafford was born on 23 February 1920 at London, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Sir Humphrey Edmund de Trafford, 4th Bt. and Hon. Cynthia Hilda Evelyn Cadogan.³ She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Francis James Cecil Bowes-Lyon, son of Captain Geoffrey Francis Bowes-Lyon and Edith Katherine Selby-Bigge, on 22 April 1941.¹ She died on 28 October 2007 at age 87 at Beltingham House, Bardon Mill, Hexham, Northumberland, England^G.^4,2
