     Sir Robert Alexander Ferguson, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 December 1796. He was the son of Sir Andrew Ferguson, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Alexander. He died on 13 March 1860 at age 63, unmarried.
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Ferguson. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Londonderry between 1830 and 1860.
