     Leathes Prior was born circa 1854 at India.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Prior and Amelia Mary Tompson.² He married Fanny Ellen Bolingbroke in 1877 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ He died in 1936.¹
     He was a practising solicitor.¹

     Fanny Ellen Bolingbroke was born in 1855 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ She married Leathes Prior, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Prior and Amelia Mary Tompson, in 1877 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.¹ She died in 1949.¹
     From 1877, her married name became Prior.¹
