     Hadley D’Oyly was the son of Rev. Sir Hadley D’Oyly, 5th Bt. and Henrietta Maynard Osborne.¹ He died in 1775 at Bunker Hill, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Marines.¹ He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.¹

     From before 1909, her married name became Cotton.¹ From 20 November 1909, her married name became D’Oyly.¹
