     George Halkett of Pitferrane was the son of Patrick Halkett of Pitferrane and Margaret Balfour.1 He married Isobel Hepburn, daughter of Patrick Hepburn of Waughton and Luffness and Isobel Haldane, after 9 July 1575.1 He died before 1588.1
