     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Riverdale, of Sheffield, co. York [U.K., 1935] on 30 September 1995.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Balfour [U.K., 1929] on 30 September 1995.2 He lived in 2003 at Fachongle Isaf, Glgwyn, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1

     She was awarded the Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 She was awarded the Medaille de la Reine Elisabeth.1 From 19 October 1899, her married name became Balfour.1 After her marriage, Frances Josephine Keighley Bingham was styled as Baroness Riverdale on 27 June 1935.
