     Robert Gibbings was born in 1793 at Gibbings Grove, Charleville, County Cork, Ireland.1 He married Frances Yarde, daughter of Major Henry Yarde and Elizabeth Lawson, on 10 October 1823 at Fort St. George, Madras, India.1 He died on 12 April 1826 at Mangalore, India, on board Lady East.1
     He was Assistnat Quartermaster-General.1 He gained the rank of Captain.1

     Joan de Hoo was the daughter of Sir Thomas de Hoo and Isabel de St. Leger.1 She married Henry Ferrers, 4th Baron Ferrers (of Groby), son of Sir William Ferrers, 3rd Baron Ferrers (of Groby) and Margaret d‘Ufford, before 27 April 1371.1 She died on 30 May 1394.1
     From before 27 April 1371, her married name became Ferrers.1
