     From 20 June 1882, her married name became Skrine.¹

     Sholto George Douglas Skrine was born on 24 August 1850 at Broad Street, Bath, Somerset, England.² He was the son of Henry Duncan Skrine and Susan Caroline Mills. He married Edith Clair Douglas, daughter of Sholto James Douglas and Ann Harriet Mills, on 20 June 1882 at St. Stephen’s Church, South Kensington, London, England.^1,2 He died on 27 June 1927 at age 76 at Kingsmoor, Box, Wiltshire, England.^1,2
     He held the office of Procurator-General of Mauritius.²

     Stair Douglas was born on 28 November 1827.¹ He was the son of General Sir James Dawes Douglas and Marianne Bullock.¹ He married Janet Mary Marshall, daughter of John Marshall and Mary Ballantine-Dykes, on 6 May 1858.¹ He died on 12 July 1861 at age 33.¹
     He was with the Civil Service at Mauritius.¹

     Janet Mary Marshall is the daughter of John Marshall and Mary Ballantine-Dykes.^1,2 She married Stair Douglas, son of General Sir James Dawes Douglas and Marianne Bullock, on 6 May 1858.¹
     From 6 May 1858, her married name became Douglas.¹

     John Marshall is the son of John Marshall. He married Mary Ballantine-Dykes, daughter of Joseph Dykes Ballantine Dykes.²
     He lived at Headingley, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Lt.-Col. Montagu William Douglas was born on 23 November 1863.¹ He was the son of Edward Douglas and Anne Arbuthnot.¹ He married Helen Mary Isabelle Downer, daughter of Venerable G. W. Downer, on 14 February 1891.¹ He died on 24 February 1957 at age 93.¹
     He was Deputy Commissioner, Delhi between 1898 and 1903.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1903.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1919.¹ He was Chief Commissioner and Superintendent, The Andamans.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Helen Mary Isabelle Downer was the daughter of Venerable G. W. Downer.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Montagu William Douglas, son of Edward Douglas and Anne Arbuthnot, on 14 February 1891.¹ She died on 23 February 1943.¹
     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ From 14 February 1891, her married name became Douglas.¹

     Venerable G. W. Downer lived at Kingston, Jamaica.¹
