     From 21 May 1862, her married name became Douglas.1

     Edward Douglas was born on 10 April 1831.2 He was the son of General Sir James Dawes Douglas and Marianne Bullock.2 He married Anne Arbuthnot, daughter of Hon. James Edward Arbuthnot and Harriet Frances Staveley, on 21 May 1862.1 He died on 21 June 1867 at age 36.2
     He was Assistant Colonial-Secretary at Mauritius.2
