     Alan Frederick James de Rutzen was born on 4 July 1876.¹ He married Eleanor Etna Audley Thursby-Pelham, daughter of Pelham Thursby-Pelham and Emily Florence Foley, on 28 April 1908.¹ He died on 7 August 1916 at age 40 at El Arish, Egypt, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Pembrokeshire Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Eleanor Etna Audley Thursby-Pelham was the daughter of Pelham Thursby-Pelham and Emily Florence Foley.¹ She married, firstly, Alan Frederick James de Rutzen on 28 April 1908.¹ She married George William Fisher Foley-Philipps on 2 December 1918.¹ She died on 3 December 1945.¹
     From 28 April 1908, her married name became de Rutzen.¹ From 2 December 1918, her married name became Foley-Philipps.¹

     Pelham Thursby-Pelham is the son of Reverend Henry Thursby-Pelham and Elizabeth Mary Papillon. He married Emily Florence Foley, daughter of Henry Foley.¹
     He lived at Abermarlais Park, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹

     Emily Florence Foley is the daughter of Henry Foley.¹ She married Pelham Thursby-Pelham, son of Reverend Henry Thursby-Pelham and Elizabeth Mary Papillon.¹
     Her married name became Thursby-Pelham.¹

     Richard Onslow, 3rd Baron Onslow was born in 1713.¹ He was the son of Thomas Onslow, 2nd Baron Onslow and Elizabeth Knight.¹ He married Mary Elwill, daughter of Sir Edmund Elwill, 3rd Bt., on 16 May 1741.¹ He died on 8 October 1776.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey between 1740 and 1776.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Onslow [E., 1674] on 5 June 1740.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Onslow, of Onslow, Shropshire and of West Clandon, co.
