     Barbara Isabella Kirkpatrick was born in 1788 at Fort William, Calcutta, India.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Kirkpatrick and Maria Seton Pawson.¹ She married Charles Buller, son of John Buller and Anne Lemon, on 26 August 1805 at Calcutta, India.¹ She died on 14 March 1849.¹
     From 26 August 1805, her married name became Buller.¹

     Emily Mary Lewis was the daughter of John Lewis.² She married Sir Philip Edward Pilditch, 1st Bt., son of Philip John Pilditch and Ellen Rosa Cox, on 11 July 1888.¹ She died on 15 January 1955.¹
     From 11 July 1888, her married name became Pilditch.¹

     Sir Philip Harold Pilditch, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 October 1890.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Edward Pilditch, 1st Bt. and Emily Mary Lewis.² He married, firstly, Frances Isabella Weeks, daughter of John George Weeks, on 23 March 1918.¹ He and Frances Isabella Weeks were divorced in 1936.¹ He married, secondly, Patricia Whittet, daughter of Alexander Willis Whittet and Dorothy Frances Foxlee, in 1936.¹ He died on 19 December 1949 at age 59.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army Reserve.)¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1941.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Pilditch, of Bartropps, Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K., 1929] on 17 December 1948.¹

     Edgar Lewis Pilditch was born on 29 June 1901.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Edward Pilditch, 1st Bt. and Emily Mary Lewis.² He married Anne Weeks, daughter of Richard Llewellyn Weeks and Susan Helen Walker McIntyre, on 5 November 1936.¹ He died on 29 July 1986 at age 85 at Ruscombe, Berkshire, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was a practising solicitor in 1926.¹ He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was awarded the United States Bronze Star.¹

     Sir Edmund Elwill, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir John Elwill, 1st Bt.¹ He married Anne Speke, daughter of William Speke.² He died on 2 February 1740.²
     He was Comptroller of the Excise.² He lived at Exeter, Devon, England.³ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Elwill [G.B., 1709] in 1727.

     Anne Weeks was born on 8 January 1894.² She was the daughter of Richard Llewellyn Weeks and Susan Helen Walker McIntyre.^3,2 She married, firstly, William Goodchild in 1920 at Durham, County Durham, England.^1,2 She married, secondly, Edgar Lewis Pilditch, son of Sir Philip Edward Pilditch, 1st Bt. and Emily Mary Lewis, on 5 November 1936.¹ She died in 1980.²

     Simon Andrew Llewellyn Pilditch was born on 9 February 1938.¹ He is the son of Edgar Lewis Pilditch and Anne Weeks.² He married Ute Mayr, daughter of Siegfried Johannes Mayr, on 6 September 1969.¹ He and Ute Mayr were divorced.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from McGill University, Montréal, Quebec, Canada^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was registered as a member of the Royal Agricultural College (M.R.A.C.)¹ He was a company director.¹
