     He was educated between 1889 and 1893 at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Dragoon Gards (Carabiniers.)¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹

     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Maureen T. Jones married John Michael Fison, son of Sir William Guy Fison, 3rd Bt. and Gwladys Rees Davies, in 1975 at London, England.¹ She died on 6 January 2011 at Heathland Court, London, England.¹
