     Sir Richard Ranulph FitzHerbert, 9th Bt. was born on 2 November 1963.¹ He is the son of Major Rev. David Henry FitzHerbert and Charmian Hyacinthe Allsopp.² He married Caroline Louise Shuter, daughter of Major Patrick Shuter, on 17 April 1993.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet FitzHerbert, of Tissington Hall, co. Derby [G.B., 1784] on 1 March 1989.² He lived in 2003 at Tissington Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
