     He gained the rank of Major in the Army Pay Department.¹

     Richard Bingham Newland died in 1826.¹

     Alicia Letitia Oldfield married Captain Charles Frankland Newland, son of Richard Bingham Newland, on 22 September 1862 at Westbourne, Sussex, England.¹
     From 22 September 1862, her married name became Newland.¹

     Ellen Charlotte Hornby was born in 1852 at Conisbrough, Yorkshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Hornby.¹ She married, firstly, Robert Andrew Woolley, son of Robert Woolley and Isabella Jane Agnes (?), on 7 May 1870 at South Africa.¹ She married, secondly, Major Edmund Walcott Newland, son of Captain Charles Frankland Newland and Anne Elizabeth Wood Walcott, in 1900 at St. Paul’s Church, Onslow Square, Kensington, London, England.¹ She died in 1918 at Staines, London, England.¹
     From 7 May 1870, her married name became Woolley.¹ From 1900, her married name became Newland.¹

     Pamela Wynn Reeves was the daughter of Herbert Wynn Reeves. She married, firstly, Algernon James Riccarton Tudor-Craig, son of Sir Algernon Tudor-Craig, in 1955.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Hamilton Wedgwood, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Ralph Lewis Wedgwood, 1st Bt. and Iris Veronica Pawson, on 30 April 1982.² She died on 5 December 2017.³
     She graduated in 1952 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)² From 1955, her married name became Tudor-Craig. She was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1958. From 30 April 1982, her married name became Wedgwood. She lived in 2003 at 9 St. Anne’s Crescent, Lewes, Sussex, England.²

     Alice Grey was born in 1409.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Grey, 6th Baron Grey (of Wilton) and Blanche de la Vache.¹ She married Sir William Burley.¹ She died in 1459.¹
