     Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield was born on 25 March 1873.¹ He was the son of Edward Rhys Wingfield and Edith Caroline Wood.² He married Sybil Annesley Giana Markham, daughter of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant, on 16 October 1902.¹ He died on 10 July 1942 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 19th Hussars.³ He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1918.¹

     Sybil Annesley Giana Markham was baptised on 13 August 1877 at Holy Trinity Church, Cowes, Isle of Wight, England.² She was the daughter of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.^1,3 She married Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield, son of Edward Rhys Wingfield and Edith Caroline Wood, on 16 October 1902.¹ She died on 2 April 1959 at age 81.¹
     Sybil Annesley Giana Markham also went by the nick-name of June.¹ Her married name became Wingfield.

     Colonel William Thomas Markham was baptised on 22 July 1830.² He was the son of William Markham and Lucy Anne Holbech.³ He married Ann Emily Sophia Grant, daughter of Sir Francis Grant and Jane Isabella Elizabeth Norman, in 1857 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² He died on 14 July 1886 at age 55.^2,3

     Major William Thomas Rhys Wingfield was born on 21 February 1907.² He was the son of Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield and Sybil Annesley Giana Markham.^3,4 He married Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir William James Norman Cooke-Collis and Cléonice Gamble, on 5 June 1936.¹ He died on 18 September 1976 at age 69.²
     He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Northamptonshire Yeomanry.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Armoured Corps.² He lived in 1976 at The Angel House, Elton, Peterborough, Huntingdonshire, England^G.¹

     Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis was born on 10 March 1907.¹ She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir William James Norman Cooke-Collis and Cléonice Gamble.² She married Major William Thomas Rhys Wingfield, son of Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield and Sybil Annesley Giana Markham, on 5 June 1936.¹
     Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis usually went by her middle name of Patricia.³ Her married name became Wingfield.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir William James Norman Cooke-Collis was born on 7 May 1876.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Cooke-Collis and Catherine Maria Oliphant.² He married Cléonice Gamble, daughter of Major George Francis Gamble, on 30 January 1906.¹ He died on 14 April 1941 at age 64.¹

     Jocelyn James Rhys Wingfield was born on 15 December 1937.¹ He is the son of Major William Thomas Rhys Wingfield and Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis.¹ He married Sara Elizabeth ffolkes, daughter of Sir Edward John Patrick Boschetti ffolkes, 6th Bt. and Geraldine Roffey, on 25 May 1968.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the KOYLI.¹ He fought in the Cyprus Campaign.¹ He was Assistant Instructor, Juungle Warfare School between 1962 and 1963 at Malaysia.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1964 and 1966 in the Sarawak Rangers.¹ He lived in 2003 at 18 Chiddingstone Street, London, England.¹

     Dr. Robert Taylor Rhys Wingfield was born on 12 April 1940.¹ He is the son of Major William Thomas Rhys Wingfield and Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis.¹ He married Anne Mary Hamilton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Toby W. Hamilton, on 18 October 1969.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1968 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (Geology.)¹ He was with the British Geological Survey.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Spring House, Grimston, Leicestershire, England.¹

     George Anthony Rhys Wingfield was born on 21 July 1942.¹ He is the son of Major William Thomas Rhys Wingfield and Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis.¹ He married Gloria Bolingbroke-Kent, daughter of Bernard Bolingbroke-Kent, on 8 June 1968.¹
