     Lt.-Gen. Sir Chandos Blair was born on 22 February 1919.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Arthur Blair and Elizabeth Mary Hoskyns.¹ He married Audrey Travers in 1947.¹ He died on 22 January 2011 at age 91.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW in 1940 and escaped in 1941.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1942.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1962.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1972.¹ He was GOC of the Scotland in 1972.¹ He held the office of Governor of Edinburgh Castle in 1972.¹ He was Colonel of the Queen’s Own Highlanders in 1975.¹

     Audrey Travers married Lt.-Gen. Sir Chandos Blair, son of Brig.-Gen. Arthur Blair and Elizabeth Mary Hoskyns, in 1947.¹
     From 1947, her married name became Blair.¹

     Susan Blair is the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Chandos Blair and Audrey Travers.¹

     Lara Rose Denman was born on 3 November 2014.¹ She is the daughter of Roland Sebastian Richard Denman and Victoria A. Horsfield.¹

     William Houldsworth McConnel is the son of William McConnel.¹

     Tom McFarlane married Rebecca Mary Few Brown, daughter of Peter Few Brown and Elizabeth Linda Milling, after 1998.¹

     Ratan Mahtani married Lily Sahni in 1987.¹ He and Lily Sahni were divorced.¹
