Sir Edmond Wyndham1 

Sir Edmond Wyndham was born in 1600.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Wyndham and Elizabeth Coningsby.2 He married, firstly, Christabella Pyne, daughter of Hugh Pyne, on 19 August 1623.2 He and Elizabeth (?) obtained a marriage license on 23 November 1669.2 He died on 2 March 1681/82.2
He matriculated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 16 April 1619.2 He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1620.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Minehead between 1625 and 1640.2 He gained the rank of Captain of Horse between 1639 and 1642.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgwater between April 1640 and January 1641.2 He gained the rank of Colonel between 1642 and 1645 in the Royalist Army.2 He held the office of Governor of Bridgwater between 1643 and 1645.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset between 1643 and 1646.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset between July 1660 and 1682.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgwater in 1661.2 He was appointed Knight circa August 1667.2
