Suffolk [G.B., 1773] on 1 April 1898.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Volunteer Regiment.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1923.1

Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt.
He held the office of Comptroller of the Royal Navy between 1847 and 1860.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Wake-Walker, of Oakley House, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 19 July 1856.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Turkish Service.1 He was commander of the Cape of Good Hope Station between 1860 and 1864.1 He was hereditary Pasha of the Ottoman Empire.1
