     Muriel Elsie Hughes was the daughter of Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt. and Elsie Johansson.² She married Admiral Sir William Frederic Wake-Walker, son of Frederic George Arthur Wake-Walker and Mary Eleanor Forster, on 19 January 1916.¹ She died on 28 November 1963.¹
     Her married name became Wake-Walker. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk in 1947.¹ She held the office of Member of the Suffolk County Council in 1958.¹

     Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt. was born on 12 May 1854.¹ He was the son of Sir Alfred Hughes, 9th Bt. and Maria Smith.² He married Elsie Johansson, daughter of John Johansson, on 30 December 1880.¹ He died on 9 December 1932 at age 78.¹
     Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Collingwood.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Hughes, of East Bergholt, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1773] on 1 April 1898.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Volunteer Regiment.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1923.¹

     Elsie Johansson was the daughter of John Johansson.² She married Sir Alfred Collingwood Hughes, 10th Bt., son of Sir Alfred Hughes, 9th Bt. and Maria Smith, on 30 December 1880.¹ She died on 25 December 1932.¹
     From 30 December 1880, her married name became Hughes.

     Frederic George Arthur Wake-Walker was born on 2 October 1857.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt. and Mary Catherine Sinclair Worth.¹ He married Mary Eleanor Forster, daughter of William Forster, on 12 April 1883.¹ He died on 10 October 1931 at age 74.¹

     Mary Eleanor Forster was the daughter of William Forster.¹ She married Frederic George Arthur Wake-Walker, son of Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt. and Mary Catherine Sinclair Worth, on 12 April 1883.¹ She died on 18 October 1928.¹
     Her married name became Wake-Walker.

     William Forster was a practising barrister.¹

     Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt. was born on 6 January 1802.¹ He is the son of John Walker and Frances Wake.² He married Mary Catherine Sinclair Worth, daughter of Captain John Worth and Catherine Sinclair, on 9 September 1834.¹ He died in 1876.¹
     He held the office of Comptroller of the Royal Navy between 1847 and 1860.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wake-Walker, of Oakley House, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 19 July 1856.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in the Turkish Service.¹ He was commander of the Cape of Good Hope Station between 1860 and 1864.¹ He was hereditary Pasha of the Ottoman Empire.¹

     Mary Catherine Sinclair Worth was the daughter of Captain John Worth and Catherine Sinclair.¹ She married Admiral Sir Baldwin Wake-Walker, 1st Bt., son of John Walker and Frances Wake, on 9 September 1834.¹ She died on 14 November 1899.¹
     Her married name became Wake-Walker.

     Captain John Worth married Catherine Sinclair, daughter of Captain Patrick Sinclair and Anne Sutherland, on 10 August 1802 at St. Paul’s Church, Covent Gardens, London, England^G.¹ He died on 27 April 1835.
     He lived at Oakley, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹
