     Major Charles St. Aubyn Wake was born on 9 February 1861.¹ He was the son of Admiral Charles Wake and Emma St. Aubyn.² He died on 22 November 1938 at age 77, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 18th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles and 3rd Battalion, Devon Regiment.¹ He fought in the Uganda Campaign between 1897 and 1898, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1899.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Suffolk Regiment.¹ He was Recruiting Officer for Bristol during the First World War.¹ He was Vice-Consul at Mombasa.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edward St. Aubyn Wake was born on 20 July 1862.¹ He was the son of Admiral Charles Wake and Emma St. Aubyn.² He married Vera Cecilia Johnston, daughter of Francis Johnston, on 12 June 1913.¹ He died on 20 October 1944 at age 82.¹
     He fought in the Burma Campaign between 1885 and 1886.¹ He fought in the Samana Expedition in 1897, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the Tirah Expedition between 1897 and 1898, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Medal 1st class.¹ He was awarded the Coronation Medal in 1911.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 21st Service Battalion, Middlesex Regiment and Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹

     Francis Johnston lived at Dunsdale, Westerham, Kent, England.¹

     Vera Cecilia Johnston was the daughter of Francis Johnston.² She married Lt.-Col. Edward St. Aubyn Wake, son of Admiral Charles Wake and Emma St. Aubyn, on 12 June 1913.¹ She died on 17 June 1968.¹
     From 12 June 1913, her married name became Wake.

     Reverend Richard Eden St. Aubyn Arkwright was born on 7 May 1870.¹ He was the son of Reverend George Arkwright and Hon. Elizabeth Kenyon.¹ He died on 27 April 1913 at age 42 at St. Chad’s Vicarage, St. Chad’s, Shropshire, England.¹

     Cecily Margaret Arkwright was born on 6 January 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend George Arkwright and Hon. Elizabeth Kenyon.¹

     Catherine Marigold Wake-Walker was born on 25 August 1921.² She is the daughter of Admiral Sir William Frederic Wake-Walker and Muriel Elsie Hughes.² She married Reverend Hugh Wake, son of Lt.-Col. Edward St. Aubyn Wake and Vera Cecilia Johnston, on 4 September 1944.² She died on 27 May 1999 at age 77.²
     Catherine Marigold Wake-Walker usually went by her middle name of Marigold.² She was 3rd Officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.² From 4 September 1944, her married name became Wake.

     Vincent Hugh Wake was born on 16 April 1947.¹ He is the son of Reverend Hugh Wake and Catherine Marigold Wake-Walker.² He married Ruth McAulay, daughter of William George McAulay, on 17 September 1977.¹
     RGN, RSCN.¹ He was educated at Clayesmore School, Iwerne Minster, Dorset, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at 50 Castle Bay Court, Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹

     William George McAulay lived at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹

     Ruth McAulay is the daughter of William George McAulay.² She married Vincent Hugh Wake, son of Reverend Hugh Wake and Catherine Marigold Wake-Walker, on 17 September 1977.¹
     From 17 September 1977, her married name became Wake.
