     Reverend Marmaduke Joseph Langdale was born on 25 October 1861.¹ He was the son of Charles Joseph Langdale and Henrietta Grattan.¹ He died on 17 January 1934 at age 72.¹
     He was with the Order of St. Benedict.¹

     Colonel Philip Joseph Langdale was born on 8 May 1863.² He was the son of Charles Joseph Langdale and Henrietta Grattan.² He married Gertrude Lysley Derriman, daughter of Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman and Caroline Gertrude Lysley, on 18 July 1895.² He died on 15 April 1950 at age 86.²
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th Hussars.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.³ He lived at Houghton Hall, Sancton, Yorkshire, England^G.³ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)³

     Gertrude Lysley Derriman was the daughter of Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman and Caroline Gertrude Lysley.¹ She married Colonel Philip Joseph Langdale, son of Charles Joseph Langdale and Henrietta Grattan, on 18 July 1895.¹ She died on 15 November 1939.¹
     Her married name became Langdale.

     Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman married Caroline Gertrude Lysley, daughter of William John Lysley and Caroline Marshall, in 1865.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.

     Caroline Gertrude Lysley was the daughter of William John Lysley and Caroline Marshall.¹ She married Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman in 1865.¹ She died in May 1879.¹
     From 1865, her married name became Derriman.¹

     William John Lysley was born on 12 December 1791.¹ He was the son of William Lysley and Ann Barker.¹ He married Caroline Marshall, daughter of John Marshall, on 3 December 1828.¹ He died in 1873.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1851.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chippenham.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hertfordshire.¹ He lived at Mimwood, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Pewsham, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. was born on 28 November 1846.¹ He was the son of William Joseph Vavasour and Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford.¹ He married Mary Teresa Weld, daughter of Edward Joseph Weld and Ellen Caroline Wrey, on 5 October 1870.¹ He died on 18 November 1915 at age 68.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Yorkshire Hussars, and served in the Papal Zouaves.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Vavasour, of Hazlewood, co. York. [U.K., 1828] on 23 August 1885.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.¹

     Oswald Hugh Stanislaus Vavasour was born on 3 June 1848.¹ He was the son of William Joseph Vavasour and Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford.¹ He married Sarah Anne Smith, daughter of James Smith, on 8 August 1877.¹ He died on 10 January 1925 at age 76.¹
     In 1870 served Papal Zouaves in unsuccessful defence of Rome against forces of Italian nationalism.¹

     Sarah Anne Smith was the daughter of James Smith.¹ She married Oswald Hugh Stanislaus Vavasour, son of William Joseph Vavasour and Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford, on 8 August 1877.¹ She died on 12 April 1937.¹
     Her married name became Vavasour.

     James Smith lived at Draycott, Staffordshire, England^G.¹
