     Captain Sir Leonard Pius Vavasour, 4th Bt. was born on 23 September 1881.¹ He was the son of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld.¹ He married Ellice Margaret Nelson, daughter of Henry Ellis Hay Nelson, on 18 August 1913.¹ He died on 14 September 1961 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Vavasour, of Hazlewood, co. York. [U.K., 1828] on 18 November 1915.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Ellice Margaret Nelson was born circa 1881.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Ellis Hay Nelson. She married, firstly, Arthur Bisset Streynsham Hoskins Master before 1913.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Sir Leonard Pius Vavasour, 4th Bt., son of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld, on 18 August 1913.¹ She died on 8 January 1965.¹
     From before 1913, her married name became Master.¹ Her married name became Vavasour.

     Lieutenant Bernard Joseph Vavasour was born on 24 October 1886.¹ He was the son of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld.¹ He married Mildred Rowena Atherstone Hales, daughter of Colonel Herbert Marwick Atherstone Hales, on 28 September 1925.¹ He died in 1946.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Machine Gun Corps, formerly Royal Garrison Artillery.¹

     Mildred Rowena Atherstone Hales is the daughter of Colonel Herbert Marwick Atherstone Hales.¹ She married Lieutenant Bernard Joseph Vavasour, son of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld, on 28 September 1925.¹
     Her married name became Vavasour.

     Peter Vaughan was the son of James Vaughan.¹ He died in 1825.¹
     He held the office of Dean of Chester.¹

     Ellen Mary Vavasour was born on 9 August 1871.¹ She was the daughter of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld.¹ She died on 15 October 1922 at age 51.¹

     Annette Mary Vavasour was born on 1 October 1872.¹ She was the daughter of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld.¹ She married, firstly, Henry Marmaduke Salvin, son of Marmaduke Charles Salvin and Caroline Wolseley, on 24 February 1897.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Herman Charles Joseph Salvin, son of Henry T. T. Salvin, on 8 December 1926.¹ She died on 3 January 1941 at age 68, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Salvin.

     Henry Marmaduke Salvin was the son of Marmaduke Charles Salvin and Caroline Wolseley. He married Annette Mary Vavasour, daughter of Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld, on 24 February 1897.¹ He died on 2 November 1924.¹
     He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was County Durham.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Marmaduke Charles Salvin married Caroline Wolseley, daughter of Sir Charles Wolseley, 7th Bt. and Mary Clifford, on 22 August 1845.¹ He died on 27 December 1885.
