     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.¹

     Mary Dorothy Moore was the daughter of Bernard Moore.¹ She married Oswald Joseph Stanislaus Vavasour, son of Oswald Hugh Stanislaus Vavasour and Sarah Anne Smith, on 24 June 1915.¹ She died on 25 August 1952.¹
     Her married name became Vavasour.

     Captain Hugh Bernard Moore Vavasour was born on 4 July 1918.¹ He was the son of Oswald Joseph Stanislaus Vavasour and Mary Dorothy Moore.¹ He married Monique Pauline Marie Madeleine Beck, daughter of Maurice Erick Beck, on 9 December 1950.¹ He died in 1989.¹
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Monique Pauline Marie Madeleine Beck was the daughter of Maurice Erick Beck.¹ She married Captain Hugh Bernard Moore Vavasour, son of Oswald Joseph Stanislaus Vavasour and Mary Dorothy Moore, on 9 December 1950.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     Her married name became Vavasour.

     Maurice Erick Beck lived at St. Aubin-sur-Scie, Seine Inferieure, France^G.¹

     Sir Eric Michael Joseph Marmaduke Vavasour, 6th Bt. was born on 3 January 1953.² He is the son of Captain Hugh Bernard Moore Vavasour and Monique Pauline Marie Madeleine Beck.¹ He married Isabelle Baudoin Françoise Alain Cécile Cornelie Ghislaine van Hille, daughter of André van Hille, in 1976.¹
     He was educated at St. Joseph’s College, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.² He graduated from Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Vavasour, of Hazlewood, co. York. [U.K., 1828] on 28 July 1997.² He was registered as a AMIEE.² He lived in 2003 at 15 Mill Lane, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, England.²

     P/O Bede Joseph Stourton Vavasour was born on 9 December 1922.¹ He was the son of Oswald Joseph Stanislaus Vavasour and Mary Dorothy Moore.¹ He died on 12 June 1942 at age 19, killed while on active service.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Dorothy Constance Vavasour was born on 17 April 1916.¹ She is the daughter of Oswald Joseph Stanislaus Vavasour and Mary Dorothy Moore.¹
     She was Sister of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul.¹

     Edward James Marmaduke Vavasour was born on 30 January 1886.¹ He was the son of Oswald Hugh Stanislaus Vavasour and Sarah Anne Smith.¹ He died on 15 July 1957 at age 71, unmarried.¹
