     She was supposedly a widow by 1818 of a Mr. Johnson, who at that time had disappeared for seven years but who subsequently turned up again, revealing himself to be Riddle rather than Johnson and a groom to Lord Adare.² From 14 March 1818, her married name became Wrey.

     From 9 August 1838, her married name became Weld.

     Edward Joseph Weld was the son of Joseph Weld and Hon. Charlotte Mary Stourton. He married Ellen Caroline Wrey, daughter of Sir Bourchier Palk Wrey, 8th Bt. and Ellen Caroline O’Brien, on 9 August 1838.¹ He died on 8 December 1877.¹
     He lived at Lulworth Castle, Dorset, England.¹

     Robert Bourchier Wrey was born in 1790.¹ He was the son of Sir Bourchier Wrey, 7th Bt. and Anne Palk.² He married Mary Anne James, daughter of Samuel James, in 1821.¹ He died on 29 March 1872, without issue.¹
