     John Walsham was born on 26 June 1771.¹ He was the son of Francis Garbett and Elizabeth Walsham.² He married Anna Maria Hughes, daughter of Hugh Hughes, on 21 June 1804.¹ He died in 1819.¹
     He was given the name of John Garbett at birth.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Radnorshire.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Radnorshire Militia.¹ He lived at Knill Court, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Anna Maria Hughes was the daughter of Hugh Hughes.¹ She married John Walsham, son of Francis Garbett and Elizabeth Walsham, on 21 June 1804.¹ She died on 29 March 1863.¹
     From 21 June 1804, her married name became Walsham.

     Sir John James Walsham, 1st Bt. was born on 6 June 1805.¹ He was the son of John Walsham and Anna Maria Hughes.² He married Sarah Frances Bell, daughter of Matthew Bell, on 25 May 1826.¹ He died on 10 August 1874 at age 69.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Walsham, of Knill Court, Herefordshire [U.K.] on 30 September 1831.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Herefordshire Militia.³ He was Poor Law Inspector.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Radnorshire in 1866.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Radnorshire in 1870.¹ He lived at Knill Court, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Sarah Frances Bell was the daughter of Matthew Bell.² She married Sir John James Walsham, 1st Bt., son of John Walsham and Anna Maria Hughes, on 25 May 1826.¹ She died on 19 August 1857.¹

     Arthur Hamilton Gorges was born on 25 June 1840.¹ He was the son of Hamilton Gorges and Gertrude Frances Bennet.¹ He died on 28 March 1864 at age 23 at Woolwich, Kent, England, killed accidentally.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     Reverend Francis Walsham was born on 9 April 1832.¹ He was the son of Sir John James Walsham, 1st Bt. and Sarah Frances Bell.² He married Marianne Barnett, daughter of Charles James Barnett, on 29 June 1865.¹ He died on 13 March 1914 at age 81.¹
     He graduated from Dunelm House, Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Rector at Knill, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Charles James Barnett lived at Bays Lawn, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone.¹

     Marianne Barnett was the daughter of Charles James Barnett.² She married Reverend Francis Walsham, son of Sir John James Walsham, 1st Bt. and Sarah Frances Bell, on 29 June 1865.¹ She died on 16 June 1928.¹
     From 29 June 1865, her married name became Walsham.
