Sir John Thorold, 7th Bt. was baptised on 8 December 1675.1 He was the son of John Thorold and Elizabeth (?)2 He married, secondly, Shortclift Langley, daughter of William Langley.1 He married, firstly, Alice Sampson in 1703.1 He died in January 1748 at age 72.1
He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Thorold, of Marston, Lincoln [E., 1642] on 25 August 1721.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1723.1
