     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders.¹ He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the Second World War.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)²

     Margaret Ann Honoria Merry Macnab was born on 22 May 1940.² She was the daughter of Brigadier John Francis Macnab of Barravorich and Dorothy Margaret Treadwell.^3,2 She married Major Hon. Edward Renfric Arundell, son of Reginald John Arthur Arundell and Winifred Castle, on 27 September 1961.¹ She died on 21 October 2022 at age 82.⁴
     From 27 September 1961, her married name became Arundell.¹

     Lucinda Margaret Beatrice Arundell was born on 17 October 1962.¹ She is the daughter of Major Hon. Edward Renfric Arundell and Margaret Ann Honoria Merry Macnab.² She married Dr. Steven Roy Nash, son of Roy Nash, in 1987.¹ She and Dr. Steven Roy Nash were divorced in 2001.¹
     From 1987, her married name became Nash. She lived in 2003 at Lanescot House, Lanescot, Par, Cornwall, England.¹
