Bryan Cooke was born on 8 June 1756.1 He was the son of Anthony Cooke and Mary Eyre.3 He married, firstly, Frances Puleston, daughter of Philip Puleston and Mary Davies, on 18 December 1786.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Bulstrode Cooke on 17 April 1821.1 He died on 8 November 1821 at age 65.1
He held the office of High Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1794.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd West Yorkshire Militia.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Malton in 1811.1 He lived at Owston, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
