     Diana Butler was the daughter of Anthony Butler.² She married Sir Henry Cooke, 2nd Bt., son of Bryan Cooke and Sarah Ryley, on 29 August 1659.¹ She died on 5 January 1668.¹
     From 29 August 1659, her married name became Cooke.

     Sir George Cooke, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 May 1662.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Cooke, 2nd Bt. and Diana Butler.² He married Catherine Copley, daughter of Sir Godfrey Copley, 1st Bt., on 19 June 1683.¹ He died on 5 October 1732 at age 70.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cooke, of Wheatley Hall, co. York [E., 1661] circa July 1689.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough in 1698.¹

     Henry Cooke was born on 26 May 1665.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Cooke, 2nd Bt. and Diana Butler.² He married Anne Eaton, daughter of Reverend Ralph Eaton.¹ He died on 2 May 1717 at age 51.¹
     He lived at Owston, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Anne Eaton is the daughter of Reverend Ralph Eaton.¹ She married Henry Cooke, son of Sir Henry Cooke, 2nd Bt. and Diana Butler.¹
     Her married name became Cooke.

     Bryan Cooke was born circa 1702.¹ He was the son of Henry Cooke and Anne Eaton.² He died in 1754, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Recorder of Doncaster.¹ He lived at Owston, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Eyre is the daughter of Anthony Eyre and Catherine Cooke.^2,3 She married Anthony Cooke, son of Henry Cooke and Anne Eaton, on 26 October 1752.¹
     From 26 October 1752, her married name became Cooke.

     Bryan Cooke was born on 8 June 1756.¹ He was the son of Anthony Cooke and Mary Eyre.³ He married, firstly, Frances Puleston, daughter of Philip Puleston and Mary Davies, on 18 December 1786.¹ He married, secondly, Charlotte Bulstrode Cooke on 17 April 1821.¹ He died on 8 November 1821 at age 65.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1794.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd West Yorkshire Militia.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Malton in 1811.¹ He lived at Owston, Yorkshire, England^G.¹
