     Edward Studd was born on 25 December 1819 at Bombay, India.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Studd and Mary Anne Murphy.³ He married, firstly, Henrietta Margaret Hudson on 31 January 1846.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothy Sophia Thomas, daughter of John Thomas, on 6 November 1856 at Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.² He died on 27 July 1877 at age 57.¹
     He was an indigo planter at Bihar, India.¹ He was (an unknown value) at Tidworth House, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Henrietta Margaret Hudson married Edward Studd, son of Edward Studd and Mary Anne Murphy, on 31 January 1846.¹
     From 31 January 1846, her married name became Studd.

     He was he played 4 test cricket matches for England against Australia between 1882 and 1883.⁴

     Grace Faith Salvation Studd was born on 13 February 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Thomas Studd and Priscilla Livingstone Stewart.² She married, firstly, Martin John Sutton, son of Martin Hope Sutton and Sophia Woodhead Warwick, on 14 February 1912.¹ She married, secondly, David Campbell Monroe on 20 November 1917.²
     From 14 February 1912, her married name became Sutton. From 20 November 1917, her married name became Monroe.²
