     From 1 February 1836, her married name became Mackinnon.1

     Brig.-Gen. Charles Henry Uvedale Price was born on 16 June 1862.1 He was the son of General George Uvedale Price and Harriette Anne Wilhelmina Gayer.2 He married Ada Mary Oliver, daughter of John Orlando Hercules Norman Oliver, on 1 October 1889 at Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.1 He died on 22 February 1942 at age 79.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1899.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Indian Army, in served Burma and Uganda.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1914.1
