     Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Knight Pearson was born in July 1834 at Thorne Coffin, Yeovil, Somerset, England.¹ He married Marian Catharine Mundy, daughter of Sir Robert Miller Mundy and Isabella Leyborne-Popham, in 1866.¹ He died on 2 October 1909 at age 75.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Clara Kathleen Smith was the daughter of C. Chaloner Smith.² She married Major Sir Robert Spencer-Nairn of Monimail, 1st Bt., son of Sir Michael Barker Nairn of Rankeilour, 1st Bt. and Emily Frances Spencer, on 13 February 1906.¹ She died on 26 January 1966.¹
     From 13 February 1906, her married name became Nairn.¹ From 1928, her married name became Spencer-Nairn.

     Sir Douglas Leslie Spencer Spencer-Nairn of Monimail, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 December 1906.¹ He is the son of Major Sir Robert Spencer-Nairn of Monimail, 1st Bt. and Clara Kathleen Smith.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Livingston Henderson, daughter of Arnold James Henderson, on 20 January 1931.¹ He and Elizabeth Livingston Henderson were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Louise Vester, daughter of Frederick Vester, on 22 November 1946.² He died on 8 November 1970 at age 63.²

     Edith Marian Pearson was born circa 1879 at Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Knight Pearson and Marian Catharine Mundy.¹ She married Bertram William Chetwynd Talbot, son of Lt.-Col. Gerald Francis Talbot and Henrietta Clarissa Noyes Bradhurst, on 19 October 1904.²
     From 19 October 1904, her married name became Talbot.²

     Reverend Edward William Leyborne-Popham was born on 28 November 1844 at Wiltshire, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Leyborne-Popham and Anne Meyrick.¹ He married Annette Barbara H. Bailward in 1873 at Westminster, London, England.¹ He died circa 18 March 1897 at Andover, Hampshire, England.¹ He was buried on 21 March 1897.¹
