     Elizabeth Johnson was the daughter of Reverend Croxton Johnson.2 She married Sir George Shiffner, 3rd Bt., son of Sir George Shiffner, 1st Bt. and Mary Bridger, on 10 July 1817.1 She died on 3 November 1861.1
     From 10 July 1817, her married name became Shiffner.

     John Shiffner was born on 15 September 1824.1 He was the son of Sir George Shiffner, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Johnson.2 He died on 18 June 1855 at age 30 at Sebastopol, Russia, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 34th Regiment.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1

Lt.-Col. Edward Thomas Shiffner1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 54th Foot.1

Major Bertie Shiffner1

     Major Bertie Shiffner was born on 3 September 1830.1 He was the son of Sir George Shiffner, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Johnson.2 He married Louisa Anne Garth, daughter of Captain unknown Garth, on 27 October 1877.1 He died on 22 May 1900 at age 69, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 61st Foot.1

Admiral Brunswick Popham1

     Admiral Brunswick Popham was born in 1805.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Home Riggs Popham and Elizabeth Moffat Prince.2 He married, firstly, Susan Murray, daughter of Patrick Murray, on 26 October 1841 at Florence, Italy.2 He married, secondly, Frances Mary Shiffner, daughter of Sir George Shiffner, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Johnson, on 26 October 1872.1 He died on 8 February 1878.2
     He was commissioned on 4 December 1817, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 3 January 1826.2 He gained the rank of Commander on 2 March 1828.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 28 June 1838.2 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1869.2 He lived at Cardean, Perthshire, Scotland.1
