     Dorothy Theresa Selwyn is the daughter of Rt. Rev. John Richardson Selwyn.² She married Sir Will Spens, son of John Alexander Spens and Sophie Nicol Baird, on 9 July 1912.¹
     From 9 July 1912, her married name became Spens. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1963.¹

     John Spens was born on 1 May 1913.¹ He was the son of Sir Will Spens and Dorothy Theresa Selwyn.² He died on 17 February 1914.¹

     Paul George Spens was born on 6 October 1917.¹ He was the son of Sir Will Spens and Dorothy Theresa Selwyn.² He married Nora Helen Sutton, daughter of G J Sutton, on 11 July 1956.¹ He died on 27 March 2006 at age 88.³
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England. He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1945 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Resident Engineer, Torpedo Factory in 1939 at Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland.¹ He lived in 2003 at Brooksyde, Water Green, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, England.¹

     Nora Helen Sutton is the daughter of G J Sutton.² She married Paul George Spens, son of Sir Will Spens and Dorothy Theresa Selwyn, on 11 July 1956.¹
     Cobham.¹ Surrey.¹ MB.¹ Her married name became Spens. She lived Southside.¹ Sandy Drive.¹

     Thomas Whittington lived at Pauntley, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Patrick Murray lived at Arthurstone, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Henry Hickman was born in 1746.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hickman and Jane (?)¹ He died before 1787.¹

     Mary Teresa Spens was born on 10 December 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Will Spens and Dorothy Theresa Selwyn.² She died on 17 June 2011 at age 91.³
     She was educated LSE.¹ She was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ She was WW II with Women’s Auxiliary Air Force and BRCS.¹

     Hugh Baird Spens was born on 1 January 1885.¹ He was the son of John Alexander Spens and Sophie Nicol Baird.² He married Margaret Emily Black, daughter of John Albert Black, on 3 September 1912.¹ He died on 19 February 1958 at age 73.¹
     He was Colonel Territorial Army (ret), Brigadier Royal County Archers, Honour Sheriff Substitute Stirlingshire, chairman Glasgow and W Scotland Price Regulation , Dean Faculty Procurators Glasgow 1946–49, WW I (despatches) with 5th Battalion Cameronians, Ctee 1940.¹ He was Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Stirlingshire.¹ He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He graduated in 1907 with a Cargilfield, Rugby, King’s College Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) ), and Glasgow U (LLB 1910.)¹ He was Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) (bar ) in 1918.¹ He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.¹
