     He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1887 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Matilda Ellen Clark was born circa 1864.¹ She was the daughter of Alfred Clark.¹ She married Andrew Constant Fairbairn, son of Sir Andrew Fairbairn and Clara Frederica Loraine, on 10 September 1889 at St. Mary the Virgin, Twickenham, London, England.¹
     From 10 September 1889, her married name became Fairbairn.¹

     Margaret Torrens was born circa 1789.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Torrens and Jane Maxwell.¹ She married Rowley Miller, son of John Miller and Margaret Oulton.¹ She died in 1839.¹
     Her married name became Miller.¹

     Reginald John Corbet was born on 14 October 1825.¹ He was the son of Sir Andrew Vincent Corbet, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Stephenson Hill.¹ He was baptised on 20 October 1825 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He married Sophia Louisa Ottilia Wilhelmina Barsse, daughter of Adolphus Otto Baron von Barsse, on 29 January 1856.² He died on 22 December 1877 at age 52.²
     He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Ceylon]²

     Walter Robert Corbet was baptised on 1 April 1832 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He was the son of Sir Andrew Vincent Corbet, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Stephenson Hill.¹ He died on 19 March 1855 at age 22 at Marseilles, France.²
     He fought in the Crimean War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 49th Regiment.²

     Elizabeth Mary Corbet was born on 13 August 1823.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Andrew Vincent Corbet, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Stephenson Hill.¹ She was baptised on 14 September 1823 at St. Chad, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ She married Edward Holmes Baldock on 12 August 1852.² She died on 1 October 1894 at age 71.²
     From 12 August 1852, her married name became Baldock.²

     Richard Granville de Courcy Hallifax was born on 30 September 1957.¹ He is the son of Peter John de Courcy Hallifax and Helen Scott Johnstone.¹ He married Bryony Jane Andrews.¹
