     Charlotte Rycroft was born circa 1760.² She was the daughter of Rev. Sir Richard Rycroft, 1st Bt. and Penelope Stonehewer.³ She married Charles Edward Pigou, son of Frederick Pigou and Henrietta Dunbar Hawthorne, in 1792.¹ She died in March 1813.¹
     From 1792, her married name became Pigou.
