Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, 1st Bt. was born on 15 February 1816.1 He was the son of Thomas Bell and Katherine Lowthian.1 He married Margaret Pattinson, daughter of Hugh Lee Pattinson and Phoebe Walton, on 20 July 1842.1 He died on 20 December 1904 at age 88.1
