     Samuel Alan Biggers was born in March 1992.¹ He is the son of David John Biggers and Kathleen O’Connell.¹

     Margaret Cruikshank was the daughter of Patrick Cruikshank of Stracathro.² She married Robert Ramsay, son of Sir Alexander Ramsay of Balmain, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bannerman, in May 1817.¹ She died on 8 January 1880.¹
     From May 1817, her married name became Ramsay.

     William Biggers was born in March 1994.¹ He is the son of David John Biggers and Kathleen O’Connell.¹

     William Fullerton Lindsay Carnegie was born on 13 May 1788 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He married Lady Jane Christian Carnegie, daughter of Admiral William Carnegie, 7th Earl of Northesk and Mary Ricketts, on 27 December 1820 at Westminster, London, England.¹ He died on 13 March 1860 at age 71.¹
     He lived at Kinblethmont House, Inverkeilor, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Susan Lindsay Carnegie was born circa 1828 at Inverkeilor, Angus, Scotland.² She was the daughter of William Fullerton Lindsay Carnegie and Lady Jane Christian Carnegie.^3,2 She married Robert Ramsay, son of Robert Ramsay and Margaret Cruikshank, on 18 April 1855.¹ She died on 17 February 1906 at Bridge, Kent, England.^1,2
     From 18 April 1855, her married name became Ramsay.¹ They had two other daughters who died unmarried.¹

     Marmaduke Francis Ramsay was born on 8 December 1860.¹ He was the son of Robert Ramsay and Susan Lindsay Carnegie.² He married Alice Katherine Angelique Waterfield, daughter of Ottiwell Charles Waterfield, on 6 July 1895.¹ He died on 31 December 1947 at age 87.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.¹

     Ottiwell Charles Waterfield lived at Nackington, Canterbury, Kent, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Alice Katherine Angelique Waterfield was the daughter of Ottiwell Charles Waterfield.² She married Marmaduke Francis Ramsay, son of Robert Ramsay and Susan Lindsay Carnegie, on 6 July 1895.¹ She died on 10 February 1951.¹
     From 6 July 1895, her married name became Ramsay.¹

     John Marmaduke Ramsay was born on 5 September 1897.¹ He was the son of Marmaduke Francis Ramsay and Alice Katherine Angelique Waterfield.² He died on 13 April 1917 at age 19, from wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.¹
