Huntingdon [U.K, 1952] on 15 January 1979.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cambridgeshire.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire between 1981 and 1984.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)1
