     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of officer at India and Ceylon in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Pilditch, of Bartropps, Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K., 1929] on 11 May 1954.1 He lived at 4 Fishermans Bank, Mudeford, Dorset, England.1
