     Gertrude May Greenland was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Greenland.² She married Reverend Edward Granville Phillimore, son of Admiral Sir Augustus Phillimore and Harriet Eleanor Fortescue.¹ She died in 1929.¹
     Her married name became Phillimore.¹

     Arthur John Close was born in 1872 at Charlton, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Major Frederick Close and Lydia Ann Stevens.¹

     Constance Evelyn Close was born in 1874 at Plumstead, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Major Frederick Close and Lydia Ann Stevens.¹

     Sir Robert Joseph Phillimore, 1st Bt. was born on 5 November 1810.¹ He was the son of Dr. Joseph Phillimore and Elizabeth Bagot.² He married Charlotte Denison, daughter of John Denison, on 19 December 1844.¹ He died on 4 February 1885 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He was admitted to the Middle Temple in 1841 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ They also had several daughters who died unmarried.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tavistock between 1853 and 1857.¹ He was a practising Chancellor of the Dioceses of Oxford, Salisbury and Chichester.¹ He was a practising Judge of the Cinque Ports in 1855.¹ He held the office of Admiralty Advocate.¹ He held the office of Queen’s Advocate.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1862.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1867.¹ He held the office of Judge High Court of Admirallty and Arches Court in 1875.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Phillimore, of Shiplake, co. Oxford [U.K.] on 28 December 1881.¹ He lived at The Coppice, Shiplake, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Mary Wallis married Sir Edward Filmer, 3rd Bt.¹ She died in 1761.¹
     Her married name became Filmer.¹

     Charlotte Denison was the daughter of John Denison.² She married Sir Robert Joseph Phillimore, 1st Bt., son of Dr. Joseph Phillimore and Elizabeth Bagot, on 19 December 1844.¹ She died on 19 January 1892.¹
     From 19 December 1844, her married name became Phillimore.¹ They also had several daughters who died unmarried.¹

     Joan Warre Close was born in 1905 at Camberley, Surrey, England.¹ She is the daughter of Edwyn Thomas Close and Evelyn Isabel Goldsmid.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Abdy Henry Gough Ricketts, son of Lt.-Col. Percy Edward Ricketts and Lilian Caroline Morant, in 1932.²
     From 1932, her married name became Ricketts.²

     Michael Skillcorn Close was born in 1910 at Camberley, Surrey, England.¹ He is the son of Edwyn Thomas Close and Evelyn Isabel Goldsmid.¹
