     Simon Andrew Townsend was born on 26 January 1974.¹ He is the son of Richard Law Townsend and Fenella Anne Chenevix-Trench.¹ He married Nicole Wengle in May 2005.²

     Sir John Chardin Musgrave, 7th Bt. was born on 15 January 1757 at Langwathby, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Musgrave, 6th Bt. and Jane Turton.¹ He married Mary Filmer, daughter of Reverend Sir Edmund Filmer, 6th Bt. and Annabella Christiana Honywood, in 1791.² He died on 24 July 1806 at age 49 at Kempton Park, Surrey, England^G.¹
     He lived in 1795 at Edenhall, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Musgrave, of Hartley Castle, Westmorland [E., 1611] on 5 July 1795.²

     Mary Filmer was born on 8 March 1761 at Kent, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Sir Edmund Filmer, 6th Bt. and Annabella Christiana Honywood.¹ She married Sir John Chardin Musgrave, 7th Bt., son of Sir Philip Musgrave, 6th Bt. and Jane Turton, in 1791.³ She died on 9 January 1838 at age 76 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Musgrave.

     Reverend Sir Edmund Filmer, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Filmer, 3rd Bt. and Mary Wallis.¹ He married Annabella Christiana Honywood, daughter of Sir John Honywood, 3rd Bt. and Annabella Goodenough.¹ He died in 1810.¹
     He gained the title of 6th Baronet Filmer, of East Sutton Place, Kent.

     Sir Philip Christopher Musgrave, 8th Bt. was born in 1794.¹ He was the son of Sir John Chardin Musgrave, 7th Bt. and Mary Filmer.² He married Elizabeth Fludyer, daughter of George Fludyer and Lady Mary Fane, on 21 October 1824.¹ He died in July 1827.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Musgrave, of Hartley Castle, Westmorland [E., 1611] in 1806.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlisle.¹ In March 1818 at Cumberland, England^G, he was imprisoned.^3,4

     Elizabeth Fludyer was the daughter of George Fludyer and Lady Mary Fane.¹ She married Sir Philip Christopher Musgrave, 8th Bt., son of Sir John Chardin Musgrave, 7th Bt. and Mary Filmer, on 21 October 1824.² She died on 21 August 1861.²
     Her married name became Musgrave.

     George Fludyer was the son of Sir Samuel Fludyer, 1st Bt.² He married Lady Mary Fane, daughter of John Fane, 9th Earl of Westmorland and Lady Susan Gordon, on 16 January 1792.² He died on 18 April 1837.²
     He lived at Ayston, Rutland, England^G.

     Lady Mary Fane was born on 19 September 1772.² She was the daughter of John Fane, 9th Earl of Westmorland and Lady Susan Gordon.^1,2 She married George Fludyer, son of Sir Samuel Fludyer, 1st Bt., on 16 January 1792.² She died on 27 June 1855 at age 82.²
     Her married name became Fludyer.

     Elizabeth Mary Musgrave was the daughter of Sir Philip Christopher Musgrave, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth Fludyer.² She died on 3 December 1844.¹

     Sir George Musgrave, 10th Bt. was born on 14 June 1799.¹ He was the son of Sir John Chardin Musgrave, 7th Bt. and Mary Filmer.¹ He married Charlotte Graham, daughter of Sir James Graham, 1st Bt. and Lady Catherine Stewart, on 26 June 1828.² He died on 29 December 1872 at age 73 at St. George’s Hanover Square, London, England^G.^3,4
     He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Musgrave, of Hartley Castle, Westmorland [E., 1611] on 11 May 1834.¹
