     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service between 1792 and 1826.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lymington.³ He held the office of Member of the Council [Bombay].³ He lived at 23 Grafton Street, London, England^G.²

     Diana Mary Leslie Prior-Palmer was born on 1 April 1929.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Sir Otho Leslie Prior-Palmer and Hon. Barbara Mary Frankland.¹ She married Bruno de Marco in 1974.¹
     From 1974, her married name became de Marco.¹

     Captain Barry Nugent Yelverton, 5th Viscount Avonmore was born on 11 February 1859.¹ He was the son of Major William Charles Yelverton, 4th Viscount Avonmore and Emily Marianne Ashworth.¹ He died on 13 February 1885 at age 26 at Kerbekan, Sudan, from enteric fever while on active service, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in January 1878 in the 37th Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in February 1879.¹ He was Instructor of Musketry in January 1882.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Avonmore, of Derry Island, co. Tipperary [I., 1800] on 1 April 1883.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Lord Yelverton [I., 1795] on 1 April 1883.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Avonmore, co. Cork [I., 1795] on 1 April 1883.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in November 1884.¹ He fought in the Sudan Expedition in 1885.¹

     Captain Grenville Fortescue was born on 15 March 1887.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Arthur Grenville Fortescue and Lilla Gertrude Ellen Fane.¹ He married Adelaide Jephson, daughter of Henry Lorenzo Jephson, on 27 November 1912.¹ He died on 4 September 1915 at age 28, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 11th Service Battalion, Rifle Brigade.¹

     Adelaide Jephson was the daughter of Henry Lorenzo Jephson.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Grenville Fortescue, son of Captain Hon. Arthur Grenville Fortescue and Lilla Gertrude Ellen Fane, on 27 November 1912.¹ She married, secondly, Brigadier Robin Leslie Hutchins, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Hutchins, on 10 March 1930.¹ She died in 1977.¹
     From 27 November 1912, her married name became Fortescue. From 10 March 1930, her married name became Hutchins.

     Henry Lorenzo Jephson died before 1963.

     Brigadier Robin Leslie Hutchins was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Hutchins.¹ He married Adelaide Jephson, daughter of Henry Lorenzo Jephson, on 10 March 1930.¹ He died in 1973.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Francis Hutchins died before 1963.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Hussars.¹

     Brigadier Arthur Henry Grenville Fortescue was born on 6 September 1913.¹ He was the son of Captain Grenville Fortescue and Adelaide Jephson.¹ He married Rosita Anne Campbell, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Charles Campbell, V.C., on 30 April 1946.¹ He died on 8 February 2005 at age 91.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹
