     Major Cornelius Charles Rolleston was born in 1817.2 He was the son of Reverend John Rolleston and Elizabeth Smelt.3 He married Anne Elizabeth Layard, daughter of Charles Edward Layard and Barbara Bridgetina Mooyaart, on 28 October 1852.1 He died on 5 November 1875.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 84th Regiment.1

     Mary Sophia Layard was born on 30 May 1832.1 She was the daughter of Charles Edward Layard and Barbara Bridgetina Mooyaart.1 She married Frank Sabonadaire on 19 September 1854.1 She died on 4 June 1864 at age 32.1
     From 19 September 1854, her married name became Sabonadaire.1
