     Christopher Rolleston was the son of Christopher Rolleston and Anne Nicholas.¹ He died on 20 October 1840, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Smelt was born in 1788 at Gedling, Nottinghamshire, England.² She was the daughter of William Smelt and Lady Margaret Stanhope.¹ She married Reverend John Rolleston, son of Christopher Rolleston and Anne Nicholas, on 21 March 1814 at Gedling, Nottinghamshire, England.^1,2 She died on 9 April 1862.¹
     From 21 March 1814, her married name became Rolleston.¹

     Jane Davidson is the daughter of Reverend Patrick Davidson and Martha Farquhar. She married William Leslie, 10th of Warthill and 8th of Folla, son of George Leslie, 7th of Folla and Mary Leslie.¹
     Her married name became Leslie.¹

     John Rolleston was the son of Reverend John Rolleston and Dorothy Burdett.¹ He died, young.¹

     Sir John Fowke Lancelot Rolleston was born on 26 March 1848.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Lancelot Rolleston and Mary Sophia Fowke.¹ He married, firstly, Catherine Adshead, daughter of Charles Adshead, on 23 September 1874.¹ He married, secondly, Eliza Morant, daughter of George Morant, on 30 June 1892.¹ He died on 9 April 1919 at age 71.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire.¹ He was appointed Knight.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the Borough of Leicester between 1900 and 1906.¹ He was president of the Surveyor’s Institution in 1901.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Hertfordshire between 1910 and 1916.¹ He was appointed Knight of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.)¹

     Catherine Adshead was the daughter of Charles Adshead.¹ She married Sir John Fowke Lancelot Rolleston, son of Reverend William Lancelot Rolleston and Mary Sophia Fowke, on 23 September 1874.¹ She died on 1 June 1891.¹
     From 23 September 1874, her married name became Rolleston.¹

     Charles Adshead lived at Brighton, Sussex, England.¹

     Eliza Morant is the daughter of George Morant.¹ She married Sir John Fowke Lancelot Rolleston, son of Reverend William Lancelot Rolleston and Mary Sophia Fowke, on 30 June 1892.¹
     From 30 June 1892, her married name became Rolleston.¹
