     Evelyn Mary Layard was born circa 1864.¹ She was the daughter of Brownlow Edward Layard and Louisa Henrietta Carter.¹ She died on 13 March 1878.¹

     James Anthony Layard was born on 19 June 1816.¹ He was the son of Charles Edward Layard and Barbara Bridgetina Mooyaart.¹ He died on 19 June 1816.¹

     Catherine Anne Sargent was the daughter of Major John R. Sargent.¹ She married General William Twistleton Layard, son of Charles Edward Layard, on 11 August 1835.¹ She died on 23 February 1898.¹
     From 11 August 1835, her married name became Layard.¹

     Major John R. Sargent gained the rank of Major in the 18th Royal Irish Regiment.¹
