Cicely Neville1 
After her marriage, Cicely Neville was styled as Countess of Warwick on 30 April 1439. After her marriage, Cicely Neville was styled as Duchess of Warwick on 5 April 1445. She held the office of Sheriff of Worcestershire in 1449.2 From 3 April 1449, her married name became Tiptoft.2 After her marriage, Cicely Neville was styled as Countess of Worcester on 16 July 1449.

He succeeded as the Comte d’Aumale on 30 April 1439.2 He succeeded as the 14th Earl of Warwick [E., 1088] on 30 April 1439.4 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Burghersh [E., 1330] on 27 December 1439.5 He was created 1st Duke of Warwick [England] on 5 April 1445.1,2 On his death his dukedom became extinct.4 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.6

He was educated between 1440 and 1443 at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Tiptoft [E., 1426] on 27 January 1442/43.1 He was created 1st Earl of Worcester [England] on 16 July 1449.4 He held the office of Treasurer of England between 15 April 1452 and March 1455.4 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) before 1453.4 He held the office of Chief Justice of North Wales between 25 November 1461 and 28 August 1467.4 He held the office of Constable of the Tower of London on 2 December 1461.4 He held the office of Constable of England between 7 February 1462 and August 1467.4 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 21 March 1461/62.5 He held the office of Treasurer of England between 14 April 1462 and June 1463.5 He held the office of Lord Steward of the Household on 9 January 1462/63.5 He held the office of Chancellor of Ireland on 31 January 1463/64.5 John Tiptoft, 1st Earl of Worcester also went by the nick-name of ‘Butcher of England’.4 He held the office of Constable of England on 14 March 1469/70.5 He held the office of Treasurer of England on 10 July 1470.5 In September 1470 he was taken prisoner, and condemned for high treason by the new Constable of England, John, 13th Earl of Oxford.3
