     John Periam lived at Buttleigh Wootton, England.¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple.¹

     Elizabeth Periam Hood was born circa 1796 at Butleigh, Somerset, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Alexander Hood and Elizabeth Periam.¹ She married Reverend Francis Lunn on 7 December 1837.¹
     From 7 December 1837, her married name became Lunn.¹

     He lived at Butleigh, Somerset, England, the Vicar.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Sir Hugh Bateman, 1st Bt. was born on 21 March 1756.¹ He was the son of Richard Bateman.¹ He married Temperance Gisborne, daughter of John Gisborne and Ann Bateman, on 4 February 1786 at All Saints, Hartingdon, Derbyshire, England.^1,2 He died on 28 January 1824 at age 67.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Bateman, of Hartington Hall, co. Derby [U.K.] on 15 December 1806, with special remainder to his daughters primogeniturely.¹

     Samuel Bateman Periam Hood was born on 24 September 1816.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Hood, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Anne Bateman.¹ He died on 18 February 1817.¹

     Emily Periam Hood was born circa 1818 at Bath, Somerset, England.² She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Hood, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Anne Bateman.¹ She married James Curtis Somerville on 23 June 1846.¹
     From 23 June 1846, her married name became Somerville.¹

     Sophia Mary Hood was born circa 1821 at Bath, Somerset, England.² She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Hood, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Anne Bateman.¹ She married Reverend John George Hickley on 21 April 1853.¹ She died in 1857.¹
     From 21 April 1853, her married name became Hickley.¹
