Sir George Augustus Eliott Tapps Gervis Meyrick, 4th Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Tapps, of Hinton Admiral, co. Southampton [G.B., 1791] on 7 April 1896.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hamshire in 1900.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Angelsey.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Anglesey.2
