     John William May Somerville is the son of Michael May Somerville.² He married Anne Catriona Hamilton Fraser, daughter of Malcolm Henry Alastair Fraser and Hon. Elizabeth Penelope Methuen, on 31 May 1997 at Chippenham, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Fanny Mary Clara Scott Douglas was born on 8 January 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Francis John Scott Douglas and Fanny Augusta Tapps Gervis Meyrick.¹ She married William Ernest Stokes, son of John Henry Stokes, on 28 July 1915.¹ She died on 11 February 1957 at age 63.¹
     From 28 July 1915, her married name became Stokes.¹

     Brigadier Travers Robert Blackley was born on 10 March 1899.¹ He is the son of Travers Robert Blackley and Ethel Cuming.² He married Elizabeth Deane, daughter of Major Alexander Deane, on 25 June 1932.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, with the Royal Artillery.¹ He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was employed by with the Royal Artillery between 1922 and 1948.¹ He was awarded the Order of Nile in 1936.¹ He was seconded for service in Occupied Territory Administrations in 1940.¹ He held the office of Chief Administrator of Tripolitania between 1943 and 1951.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946 Military.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1949.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1952.¹ He was British Resident of Tripoliania in 1952, until his retirement.¹ He lived at Gurrane, Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Deane was the daughter of Major Alexander Deane.¹ She married Brigadier Travers Robert Blackley, son of Travers Robert Blackley and Ethel Cuming, on 25 June 1932.¹
     From 25 June 1932, her married name became Blackley.¹
