     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He lived at Yarcombe, Devon, England.¹ He lived at Buckland Abbey, Devon, England.¹ He lived at Nutwell Court, Devon, England.¹

     Herbert James Harris lived at Bowden, Lacock, Wiltshire, England.¹

     Evelyn Mabel Harris is the daughter of Herbert James Harris.² She married Richard Owen Tapps Gervis Meyrick, son of Sir George Augustus Eliott Tapps Gervis Meyrick, 4th Bt. and Jacintha Phipps, on 21 March 1918.¹ She and Richard Owen Tapps Gervis Meyrick were divorced in 1940.¹

     Alexandra Adele Brett is the daughter of Brigadier Rupert Brett.¹ She married, firstly, Richard Anthony Tapps Gervis Meyrick, son of Richard Owen Tapps Gervis Meyrick and Evelyn Mabel Harris, on 6 January 1949.¹ She married, secondly, Antony Rising Baxter, son of Colonel D. Baxter, on 20 January 1968.¹
     From 6 January 1949, her married name became Tapps Gervis Meyrick. From 20 January 1968, her married name became Baxter.¹

     James David Tapps Gervis Meyrick was born on 15 April 1950.¹ He is the son of Richard Anthony Tapps Gervis Meyrick and Alexandra Adele Brett.² He married Nicola Jane Williams, daughter of H M Williams, in 1988.¹
     He was educated at Bredon School, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     H M Williams lived at White House, Llantilio Crossenny, Abergavenny, Wales.¹
