She was the daughter of Admiral Sir William Wellclose Davis and Lady Gertrude Elizabeth Phipps.^1,2 She married Leslie Michael MacDonald Saunders Watson, son of Captain Leslie Swain Saunders and Elizabeth Culme-Seymour, on 13 December 1958.¹ She died on 26 December 2020.³
     From 13 December 1958, her married name became Saunders Watson.¹
